Air BNB Studio

Designed as a compact studio with a big personality, this Air BNB project was driven by the client’s vibrant, easy-going nature and their desire to create a space that feels instantly inviting, playful, and effortlessly “chill.” The brief called for bold colours, relaxed energy, and a layout that maximized both comfort and visual impact—without overwhelming the limited footprint of a studio apartment. Our approach began with understanding how the space would be experienced by different guests. Since a studio relies heavily on first impressions, we focused on creating a strong yet balanced visual identity. The layout was carefully zoned to define living, sleeping, and lounging areas without solid partitions. Furniture placement, colour blocking, and lighting were used as subtle dividers, maintaining openness while giving each zone its own character. Colour became the heart of the design. We curated a lively yet harmonious palette—warm yellows, teal blues, terracotta accents, and soft greens—layered thoughtfully to avoid visual chaos. These tones were paired with neutral base finishes to ground the vibrancy and ensure the space felt welcoming rather than loud. Textures such as patterned tiles, playful upholstery, and matte finishes added depth and personality. To enhance the “chilling” vibe, we introduced relaxed seating, soft lighting, and mood-driven elements like pendant lights, wall art, and indoor plants. Lighting was designed to be flexible—bright and energetic during the day, warm and cozy by night—allowing guests to shift the mood effortlessly. Smart storage and multifunctional furniture were seamlessly integrated to keep the studio clutter-free and functional. Every element was designed to be Instagram-worthy yet practical, reflecting the client’s lively spirit. The result is a studio apartment that feels fun, expressive, and relaxed—a space that instantly connects with guests, mirrors the client’s personality, and offers a memorable stay experience full of colour, comfort, and character.
